I’ll definitely look into what I can grab! Thank you all for your responses

Might as well keep them Stella if they're going to be useful! Then it makes the fails less disappointing too 🤣 If you are a bit more discerning with the studs you end up with or the straws you use, you can get away with some shockingly shit mares lol
Ravenwood Farm
Stella, I use EEE+ stallions for my quest mares, I find EEE+PPP gives a decent chance of a PPP foal. My EPP mares get EEW studs and so on
Angels angels
Howl Nope sadly. We are just going to have to wait for it to hopefully show up
BlackRose
Yeah I have 3 quests right now that are “breed double premium” and different colours lol!!
Artemis Ridge
I usually buy the color quest studs in PPP+ because you never know when the quest master will throw "Breed a double premium tobiano splash white sabino" at you x)
Angels angels
Spirit As long as yo are showing properly you should make profit not mater how many show horses you have or how new you are
BlackRose
Min, would I be best keeping the foals that carry the genes and the PPP? I normally just leave my foals and when they age sell them on… I didn’t think about keeping the outcomes!
BlackRose
Howl, I do that also! I came to the realisation I should get a stud with the genes to make it easier for pairing! I wasn’t sure if PPP or higher would be suited as sometimes I breed my PPP studs with PPP mares and get SSS so I wasn’t sure!

Does anyone make a profit from showing your horses? And how long did it take for you to start seeing a profit?
Minerva
I have masses of them Stella. I just kept my fails that had any colour, then kept any useful quest foals I bred and built up that way. Definitely you want PPP+. I usually use anything PPP, PPE & PEE and breed to EEE-EEW colour boys for the premium quests
Artemis Ridge
I've been keeping quest studs and then I usually just brood to cheap public mares
Ravenwood Farm
I use PPP mares for those quests, but if I just need a foal with one P I like EPP/EEP combos as well
The Lone Star
I breed all of my horses to carry the quest patterns/colours. But I recently started a barn for my own personal use in case some of my quest mates are bred out.
