| I think with cats in particular they seem to have an affinity for humans the opposite sex to them, at least in my experience. |

| I've thought about calling the guys out on the ranch's Facebook page, but one of them won the Cheyenne rodeo (bronc riders) so I don't exactly know if it would be the smartest move. |

| haha yes my one cat on the other hand LOVESS men xD so much so she drools on them and we now have to warn guests when we have them xD |

| i think its an ego thing for the ones that are rough with animals / training, hurts their egos when they cant *make* an animal do something for them |

| There are plenty of outstanding horsemen, it's certainly not all of them, but more often than not, that's where the roughness and trauma comes from |

| right? majority ive worked with have all had problems with men.. especially my dog, he when we first got him he would literally pee himself whenever my husband would walk by him or try to pet / interact with him .. luckily he has gottten over it with my hubs, but hes still very uneasy with men in general |

| cant blame her, i dont like guy either most of the time xD (jk) but thats great she follows you!! <3 hopefully she gets over her fear of the lariat with some patience ^_^ |

| She's gotten better, though. Took me a while to make friends but she'll follow me around the round-pen without a halter willingly now. She does NOT like guys though |

| Mellow, She had 45 days in an auction yard and she was perfect at the sale we got her from. I even rode her the next day and then we realized she had NO groundwork. And shes terrified of a lariat and i'm planning on making her my rope horse so that'll take a while :/ |
