| @Green, yes! It drives me nuts! I occasionally look a local reptile classifieds (just because) and at least 98% of the ones I see are living in neglect and being sold with an abhorrent setup. |

| Don't get me started about how blatant reptile abuse runs so massively rampant. 3 out of my 4 came from people who simply realized they didn't want to do more then the bare minimum of care and research. 2 were housed together and you can imagine how that went. |

| I love snakes but I don't touch them unless I know what they are and that they aren't venomous lol. There was once a baby snake under a water trough I was cleaning and I didn't know what it was. I had never seen one around here. I used a shirt to relocate it so I didn't squish it but it ended up being just a little water snake. I took a picture and looked it up after |

| @Angels, I am a part of a hognose Facebook group and we once had someone ask why their wild caught hognose wasn't eating. And another person ask why their hognose wasn't eating the crickets she had bought it. Oh, and someone who bought a snake to overcome their fear of them only to throw it across the room. |
