I'll never forget the fair before last. They had an ungelded pony in the petting zoo and 2 big quarter horses out by some sort of stand. That pony had no interest in anything other than the pen outside the structure all the animals were in.
Witchy their are stalls available so I went ahead and got one away from other horses so he does'nt do something stupid.Im also bringing his ear bonnet and Pombs which are little foam balls you stick in their ears to mute out some sound.Also at rodeos I usually separate my horses from others in warmups and other public areas so they can focus on my cues.
Apparently, your friend has little concern for your safety or anyone else at the rodeo. Bringing a green stud to an event like that, is a recipe for trouble.
