| Oh yes! I caught some amazing horses back when I started, now it feels dry. Like now that I've been playing nearly a year I've lost some invisible newbie boost. I'm sure that's not really a thing but we used to joke about it on WP back in the day too. |

| That said, I show a lot of mares as well and they are also very successful even though they train a little bit slower than geldings |

| Stallions: no, unless they are homozygous in something that would make them useful for quests. Mares: I keep them around, they can be useful for quests, or even breeding up if they have good color. Geldings: absolute yes, they make excellent show horses! |
