Alright, the enclosure the spider is in is one of those acrylic ones that is held together by bands. She did it on the top so the web peels off really easy from the acrylic if we do have to.
Hopefully not though because we do not want to care for a hundred tiny babies xD

Yes you can just be careful. Use a paint brush and some tweezers and you should be able to move it. I don't reccomend it though because it can be detrimental to the babies because theyre incredibly fragile. It wouldn't take much to accidentally harm them. But take the paint brush and kind of pry the sac around the edges off of the surface its stuck too and then use the tweezers once you've gotten it off there and pick it up from the edge of the sac. You should be able to move it that way. Itll be tedious and require a ton of patience but itll work. I would suggest if you dont feel comfortable with moving it that you put whatever enclosure theyre in into a butterfly enclosure that zips. And leave it in that in a safe place. Also dont forget to keep the enclosure the sac is in moist. Spray it with a very very fine mister so you dont drown them

If it is fertile and they start moving and it sags like you say, is it safe to detach the sac to move into a better container?
Painted Perfection

The easiest way to tell is if the look dark and havent developed past the egg stage and its been quite a while past the "timeframe" for them to become babies

Just be careful, dark doesnt always mean fertile. They could rotten and dry out in which case theyll also get dark. But youll definitely tell if they no longer cling to the side of the sac. Once they seem like the sac is sagging and you see movement it means they've turned into babies. Eggs turn into the actual spiders so you wont see egg shells per say.

Oh dont put substrate in their containers. Lol. Just hotglue some little fake plants into it so they can move and hide from eachother and mama should be removed from the enclosure once the babies start to wander a bit

Yeah I am going to keep an eye on the eggs to see if they are fertile. They are orange right now and online it says if they start to turn dark they are probably fertile and developing. Not sure how we will move her and them if they are fertile though. The enclosure is deffinitly not baby safe lol

No they cannot cross breed. And yes they are native but All female spiders will lay eggs. I would excercise caution and probably put her in a baby safe enclosure with the sac and let her take care of it. If they end up being fertile they can hatch in the emclosure. Just make sure the air holes are small enough that the babies cannot escape from. Theyre the size of pen dots so needle size holes or very very fine mesh pr cheese cloth will work if you put her in a plastic container with a lid. I recommend deli cups.

It is an independently owned pet store in my town. My boss/the owner has owned and ran it for 30+ years now
It is a bold jumping spider and I am in Georgia. They are native here but I don't know what the odds are that she would have found one to mate with in the store. And that species can't cross breed lol
