Is sorry dash... A humid 70 here... It sucked cuz I had do mow the lawn today..
Whitewolf
Cali I feel like sexed pullets always ends up being a gimmick lol He is really handsome
California Valley
Lucked out with chicks though, this was our only rooster (if we don't count the bantams). Last year even with "sexed pullets" we ended up with 6 roos -Click-

Yeah I live 20 minutes north of the closest tiny town right across from a national forest - plenty of coyotes, coons, bobcats, etc but I still have them anyway :) My game chickens run wild and roost in trees and my laying hens are in pens
California Valley
Dash that's what happened to us earlier this year. A weasel dug under the coop, he chewed into it and was killing 1-2 chickens a day until we finally trapped him. More than half our flock was wiped out, so lots of chicks this season to replenish
California Valley
I'm focusing on my lavender orpingtons and blue laced red wyandottes while I wait for ermines lol
California Valley
The hatching eggs alone are scary. Someone tried selling me a dozen for $150. I didn't see it worth gambling that much on eggs when I could buy multiple adults for that price
