Yeah thats true But I think they would be too big anyays
All Breeds
For the most part no. Given the texture of BP eggs they pose a choking/impaction hazard.
Greenheart Stables
... can a California kingsnake eat them 👀 I feel like it would make a cool treat
All Breeds
They may still be healthy and viable and someone may want to hatch them to keep as pets in some cases or may use them if they have egg eating lizards/snakes
Angels angels
I guess just for me, there is nothing wrong with it in any way, but throwing out perfectly good eggs hurts my soul xD
All Breeds
Agreed with Angel. See if you could find someone first however I will say that out of 5 eggs that my female laid 2 were slugs and one was fertilized but didn't develop. So I had 2 successful out of "5"
Angels angels
But I will say normally first time layers don't lay more than around 6. I think 4 is what it normally is. Unless the female is absolutely massive. And sometimes even some of the 4-6 could be slugs

Green No there is nothing wrong with cutting it down to more manageable size. I would maybe see if you could find a breeder willing to take the eggs before just throwing them out but no thats not bad.
Greenheart Stables
@Angel Definitely, im currently saving for a shed kit now. Though I do have a question. Would it be considered a bad this to cull a clutch right after being laid? Turning a 8+ clutch into 4-2? As a quantity control
Angels angels
Green I guess what I would do then is get her gene tested then if she doesn't have spider you could breed her once and monitor the babies for longer than you normally would before selling them just to make sure there are no signs of anything. And if there are make her pet only and all the babies pet only
Greenheart Stables
Probably, im just freaked since the seller was like "oh yeah get that snake you bought from me checked out might have spider. Completely forgot." The acual breeder gave the seller his collection and I guess he talked about breeding Spider
