Doesn't stop them from treating my house like a miniature zoo, though. They'll come over just to pick up Zulu or someone lol

I don't really have any "weird" pets. My friends more so find it weird that I can keep up with their care. Despite how many times I bring up that this is literally what I was trained to do, it still baffles them. Thus making me the "weird" one lol

I had a leopard gecko I loved more than life. Her name was vetala. She literally had they heart eyes emoji on top of her head (ill try to find a pic) but she unexpectedly passed one day from an aneurysm. Broke my heart.

so many of my friends and family find me the odd ball because I love to practically every animal out there and have owned the "gross" things like rats, lizards, spiders, etc.

She has been an amazing companion for the last 10 years I've had with her, though. When my parents were diagnosed with their health stuff, Kingsley was the go-to while they were getting treatments that the gecko could be around in lol

According to her, she kept "finding" them. You know, domesticated geckos that don't even live in the US. Needless to say, I was appalled, disgusted, and gave her "the lecture" before taking a gecko and leaving.

She'd just dump a bunch of crickets in there and ignore them the rest of the week. Kingsley was one of the ones that was sicker than the others so I took her

Sadly my gecko came from someone who was keeping 50+ of them in a literal rubber maid or whatever those giant plastic bins were called

I used to have ducklings that a momma abandoned in my parents fish pond. She never came back, maybe she died I don't know. But they were so beyond fun to raise for a little period of time. We ended up releasing them and another momma duck adopted them on top of her own duckies so in total she had like damn near 20 babies xD

I rescued my house gecko from sister. She had rescued it from a meter that was shipped from that area. We dont have geckos in the state I live in. She tried to do the right thing but left it in the house with no food for months. I went to clean the house and found it alive( she thought it was dead) I brought it home and gave it a proper home
