This is the huge two year old in question xD. Her chest looks darker because she was wet :) She's a Shire/Paint, probably bred as a bronc😬 She's a good girl, though -Click-

x) Oklahoma is a silver black and she's got the occasional light red colored hairs in her tail
Gaelic Gladiacres
hmmm. if I had to guess maybe the skin at the hair follicle is pigmented dark?

I literally forget that I've got this one unless I'm wearing a sleeveless top. Got it in memory of my great grandparents. Caught a pair of butterflies sitting on the lilac bush my great grandma gave me forever ago, and it just felt right. This was taken after the touchup, which, somehow felt more irritating than the original tattoo xD I didn't even ask for a break, I feared that if my artist stopped for too long that I'd be done for the day xD -Click-

I'm actually so confused rn. So, I was looking at my filly's tail and the center of it (she's a paint, most of her tail is white.) is black. She's a sorrel. I know for a fact she isn't liver or anything, if anything she's incredibly bright with some pangare now that she's about halfway shed. Then again, 95% of the horses i've ever been around have been bays, blacks, buckskins, duns, and palominos, so I don't know if I'm missing something or what.

Thank you! I've got OCD baddd when it comes to my tats xD I lather the two of them up with more sunscreen than I do on the non-tattooed parts haha
Gaelic Gladiacres
brooke - that's so sweet, and very well done. nice and crisp lines and lettering!
