Oh you're cute -HEE Click-

Ohh that’s a hard decision - if you’ve the space a buffer zone might be helpful initially, if you anticipate silly behaviour 🫣 But either sounds great to me, very sensible to give them time to meet over the fence. I’ve never understood people who chuck horses into established groups right away

Have you got a good energiser on your fencing to prevent any escape artist-ing? Echoing what Ash said, I have friends who've used transporters both within the UK and from the continent and they've always been fantastic. If anything, the fact that they have no affiliation with your horse can be better, since they don't have the nervous/excited energy that we would when picking them up, if that makes sense
Minerva
That is very reassuring to hear Ash lol- my anxiety is on overdrive 🤣 I also can't decide whether I should have them in two parts of the field right next to each other or build a buffer zone in between to start with. She'll be in overnight on Saturday though so Ill have time sunday to decide

Pro transporters are very good (in my experience anyways); its a leap of faith putting your precious baby in someone else’s hands but I just told myself they do it every day, with years of experience. And with a company you usually have the benefit of them having connections should (heaven forbid) any support be needed

Im crossing my fingers! Its my first time using a separate transporter as we collected Minnie and Ted was brought over by the seller so Im shitting myself a little bit 😬 I do have a cunning plan in mind to justify this self indulgence though (aside from companion and cute)- the local farmer and the couple with a smallholding down the road both have 1 year olds currently. If I can get her going nicely by the time they're thinking about riding the two girls from down the road will have outgrown her and she can hopefully have at least one little jockey to take her hunting etc

I was summoned by the Shetland content 👀 She's SO cute Min, I can't wait to see how evil she is
Ashcroft Park Stud
Oh that’s so exciting Min, new horse day is the best day! Hope they travel well and all goes smoothly

-Click- Thats one I was sent that doesnt have people in it lol. She's proper adorable
Silver Melody Acres
The sacrifice children XD you'll have to show pics of the pony when you can, she sounds adorable!
Minerva
Yep- 2 kids down the road, absolutely horse mad and neither were too bothered about being pile driven into the floor by Minnie so hopefully they're up for some shetland wrangling 🤣 Their mother is a paramedic too which is an extra bonus 🤣
Minerva
Itll be good for my confidence to have one to get going before Ted thats a bit smaller (assuming she's not a complete bellend about it- but I suppose if I can deal with that Ill find Ted easy as pie 🤣). Obviously Ill not be the one on her back but I can do all the groundwork and then supervise the sacrifice children 🤣🤣

I skipped the capture 200 after all Min, then got 'breed an apricot' and 'successfully navigate 10 obstacles in explore' which were finished quickly and now I have 'capture 100'which gives less money, but more Sherpa maps, something I greatly appreciate.
Minerva
Haha no- a live one 🤣 She's skewbald- mostly white to be honest but theres a few chestnut patches. Rising 4yo so almost exactly a year older than Ted so hopefully she'll be something for him to play with and also be Minnie's little pet friend to keep her company
Nolified
Min, I thought you were talking about a new in game breed, I got excited for a second lol
