| You can go 2 for 2 and get a rescue mustang like me lol. Two of my geldings were orphaned in the wild when they were only a few days old. |

| There are alot of insanely nice horses just sitting in feedlots, we got a gelding 3 years back and the only issue we've had with him is head shy and he hates the farrier |

| If I ever get a horse/mule, I'd try to find a rescue/mustang that's newbie friendly. Not saying I wouldn't buy a pedigree or none rescue. :) |

| Rescue horses will always be special to me. I worked at a rescue and own a few rescue geldings. My first horse was an ex broodmare in a feed lot. Best wishes for your guy, there's plenty of incredible horses out there that deserve more than what they were given. |

| He came from a neglect situation where he was kept intact but never properly handled or cared for. Over time he became reactive, not aggressive—just overwhelmed and defensive. The rescue stepped in when his condition declined and gave him basic medical care and stability, I just received him a few weeks ago, hes doing better, and less bothered by other horses, Though he is still in his own pasture by himself, because we dont trust him FULLY to be around the other horses. |
