I technically got a cheat code as it turns out Dad went wayyyyy overboard on his choice of life insurance policy, then decided to have a heart attack a few months before the paddock came up for sale. Somewhat traumatising but I see it as him giving us the opportunities he wasn't able to while he was alive 🤷♀️ He'd have shat a brick at the thought of spending the money though lol- land is bloody expensive 😬 |

| I used to work at a farm as well, owner ran lessons and trail rides. I’ve never hated someone as much as her. Hardly fed her horses, whipped them, overworked them and never provided any healthcare |

| Min that’s so sweet, she was meant to be with you! And gosh, you’re living the dream buying land - I’m still working on that bit, just closing my eyes when I pay my livery bill for the moment. My theory is horses are cheaper than therapy, so they’re basically free |

| Peg I completely agree with that statement. I used to look after seven horses on a farm, and the owner ran a trail riding company and had worked with horses for 30 years. And yet she still abused her horses and was blinded by money making and her own ego :( |
