| Yes they are, but like humans, that isn't all they are. They have an incredible spectrum of other emotions. It's not black and white, but yes, their violence is pretty scary. I think they are a "euthanize on sight" if one escapes at a zoo. |

| Summer No I don't have any proof, like I said, I don't have any credentials in the area, it's just a casual observation. Chimpanzees are another example. Humans as well. There is empathy too, but the *intentional* violence that has nothing to do with feeding is notable. |
