@Fawn Aww any pictures of him? He sounds lovely
Greenheart Stables
I wonder why there's such a wide spectrum spectrum of severity with spider and the wobble. Side note do you think I should get Zazi genetically tested to see what genes hes got just for kicks? Been thinking on it lol
All Breeds
And behavioral wise I personally have had very calm and gentle BPs. My boy Val that passed away was an absolute sweetheart. I wish I had kept one of the babies from the clutch because he passed away a couple months afterwards <3
The Joker
Playing Grandma got run over by a reindeer whilst I sit beside my grandma is oddly hilarious
All Breeds
I personally avoid any morphs that I know have neurological issues because the spectrum of it is so varied between snakes even if they're from the same clutch. I've seen for example the spider morph where some of them had severe wobble that they couldn't eat and had to be euthanized but others from the same clutch had minimal to none.

@Fawn Is there anything non deformity you try to avoid or remove? Genetic or behavioral wise? I appreciate you being nice, had I asked this in a old facebook forum I would've been crucifed lol
All Breeds
So I've only had one clutch so I can't necessarily say that I've had to cull however from my understanding anything that is a deformity which can impact the quality of life. For example like a kink in the spine, severe neurological issues like wobble, if they are not eating properly once they've hatched or failing to thrive.

@Fawn How does culling work for BPs? Or yours in this case, ive always been curious about the less talked and less glamorous parts of breeding
All Breeds
No problem at all! I love talking about my babies <3 My husband's passion project is his BCIs
Greenheart Stables
Sorry if I'm asking alot of questions I don't get to speak to fellow snake owners RL and even rarer Breeders that care XD
All Breeds
Yeah our female has a great temperament as well so I'm very pleased that he is very gentle too. I'm actually really surprised but he isn't head shy at all. I can't wait to pair them up once he's appropriately sized
Greenheart Stables
@Fawn Oooh hopefully he passes that to his offspring. I see temperaments are often overlooked for color, Zazi is super mild but he's also very headshy with a few occasions of being defensive in the previous year but he's growing out of it from whats been seen
Sunset River Arabian
I feel bad. The person whos secert santa I am I can't give them 3 of the 4 things they want and the 4th thing just seems thoughtless and an easy out because everyone asks for it T-T
All Breeds
Super curious and overall chill. We have had him for 3 weeks now. Anytime I come up to his quarantine tank he always lifts up his head and will come out of his enclosure to me
