| oh I don't really care much for sooty. but I was interested in if she was a true black base. but I was wanting to make sure I was understanding it cause I was using the genetics guide for help. |

| she does however carry one dominant gene for PATN-2 which controls what type of patterns come from Lp (Leopard) and other white markings, I *think |

| sooty is I believe a random trait vs heritable like the e/a/d/etc alleles. she is black (aa showing no agouti which alters the base color E) |
