| You can speed along some of the 'building up' phase of the game if you can make art and adopts - appreciate it's not possible for everyone, but selling a few art pieces can be a huuuuge help |

| Capturing horses is such a massive money sink, people just starting out need to avoid it like the plague...especially since you have to be premium in order to rate them in any useful way |

| A show string that doubles as a broodmare herd is also a very nice moneymaker- EEE mares are perfect for this and aren't too expensive. Bottom line for any new player is to appreciate the fact that this game is a marathon not a sprint- youve got to go through the trenches of building everything up slowly |
