Puck, Hmmm. I could do that. I AM a night owl, I could easily start feeding him closer to 12am/12pm, and put his snacks somewhere in the middle. |

Maybe start feeding him at a completely different time? Throw him off his rhythm |

I'm hoping by just ignoring him, if not just blatantly ignoring him when he does it, will tell him that it won't get him what he wants... He was smart enough to start this habit, he's dang well smart enough to also stop it when the pattern isn't there. |

CE, I'm sure not everyone does it lol. I didn't like it personally, but what was I gonna do? Tell ownership that I didn't like their ways? LOL. |

Versa I've never been to a shelter that assigned cats breeds before. Their just labeled as short or long hair cat on their info cards. Interesting tactic the shelter you worked at had. |

Sketti's foster owner DID warn me that he's a horrible beggar. That he'll beg and beg relentlessly. It HAS held true. |

I can't have another cat anyways, Oliver hates other cats. It is part of the reason his foster wanted him gone. |

I saw a black cat in the hospital parking lot a couple weeks ago. I would have brought it home, but it ran away. |

Mind you, Sketti WAS dumped on the side of the road and his condition makes it likely he received neglect from his prior owner, given his mother would've had to have been sick. It's likely food is just a BIG issue for him, and he'll take any excuse he can get, to have it. Until something else seems irregular, there's no way a vet is going to be able to diagnose, "yeah my cat vomits consistently around mealtimes, conveniently when he deems he's hungry" lol |

@Puck, lol, the cat distribution system only gives out domestic shorthairs, longhairs, etc. |

asjdfkajdsl the vets asked me what breed Mo was an I was like "I don't know I found him on the ground". As god intended for cats to be |

When I worked at a shelter, they gave them "breeds" as it's more enticing to adopters... In reality, you have a "colour point" until a vet can confirm or deny an actual genetic history |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Arctic, might just be the coloring. I had a cat whose color was lynx point siamese, but he was definitely a mutt cat (domestic shorthair). |
Glacier Bay Cove |
Huh, that's interesting since I got a Siamese cat from the animal shelter |
