once you know what works for you it's a great way to make money. But everyone has their own system I guess, so I am not going to say that what works for me will work for everyone else. Also I think there's nothing wrong with starting with your own foals, training them up and entering them at level 1. Many people experienced in showing claim that there is no money to be made if showing under level 3 - but they forget that they were newbies too and sometimes buying already trained horses which have just leveled up and will show poorly, then entering them and losing money will put off some people from showing which would have happily continued to evolve if they had just grown into showing with their own level 1 stock - small profit is profit too and makes you ready for the bigger goals! |
