No, she doesn't put her over super high jumps just not ground poles and she makes sure she gets anything she needs before and after she jumps her with her other horses.

I'd still be very wary of putting a small horse over large jumps. That's a lot of weight/force to be coming down on small bones/joints
Slow Stream Stables
My friend has a yearly that was supposed to be for hunter's but has turned out to be a very high jumper for her age lol
El Cuco

void my point isn't that literally any horse could be capable of it, but that any horse might have the drive and traits to be able to go up the levels. obviously you don't want to take a lazy thick WB beyond something like Novice because of how much conditioning and stuff it takes. but a small horse or a horse outside the "look" of what a "typical" UL eventer looks like can happen. just look at all the "$500 out of the slaughter house" horses have been incredible athletes
El Cuco
I'd say any breed can do it, some are more likely to excel at it than others, and overall it just depends on the specific horse. Some can, some can't, and their wellbeing is always first priority.
The Old Gods

I have a tb and qh mix with a slight paint gene, shes 6 years old and shes been working with me for like 2-3 years now, shes a really good 14-15 second runner lol
El Cuco
Oh yes, she was the best girl ever. She's retired now and just gets food and massages.
El Cuco
It's a shame because my first trainer said my seat was just naturally better in western saddles. Hurt my soul a little lol. I suppose those disciplines just weren't exciting enough for me.

and hey if little Teddy and Karen O'Connor can do UL eventing I feel like any horse could
