Is that what they are called?!

My left one is my better one. But I had blood drawn 3-4 times a month, sometimes twice in the same week. It was not fun

as a kid my brother once got such a bad stomach bug he wasn't keeping down water, so they didn't have a vein to get and unfortunately had to dig around with even the butterfly to do it. my mom who's a vet and been an emt was seething because she was like "I could do it but I can't because I'm not staff!"

I forgot what it was for but I had to have an IV put in my hand for the first time after all of that because they couldn't get my veins. They tried three times in my arm and had to use my hand. I think that's when I had the Flu B during my first pregnancy. It was absolutely terrible and more painful than a normal IV

void - same on mine. the right is usually the easier one to draw from although a couple times they've had to go to my other
The Old Gods
Yeah. Had to get blood work every 3 months there for awhile. I started knowing the nurses by name lol. It just turns into a bit of a pain when they have to go fishing for a vein. Evidently, my left arm has smaller ones than my right. So...Good to know I guess

Oh yeah my arms look fine. The vein though is really hard to get to now, so I have to use my other arm most times which sucks
Gaelic Gladiacres
me when I had so many blood tests done for Lyme disease testing...and then military stuff...and fertility stuff... I've got the same little scarring lol although I'm pretty lucky I think and they're not super visible
Lunar Wilds
I am hoping that if my husband and I decide not to have a second after this that he’ll get the good ole snip snip. My only real option for contraception is the pill and it still sucks.
Dash Warmbloods
It’s an injection most people in the DoD get at least once. Usually before boot.

I used to be fine with needles for IV and blood draws, but IVF left me with slight anxiety over it. They drew my blood in the same arm so often it's like it got scar tissue and started bruising badly. I looked like an addict 😅 now when I get blood drawn it makes me anxious
Jericho Stables
It's kind of moot point. It was two shots that did not bother me *at all*. The last one was seven years ago. And I have ZERO intention of ever being pregnant again. I have an IUD. There is the whole matter of a brain tumor that messes with my hormones and I had to take medication to get pregnant the last time. PLUS my husband has had the ole snip snip
Dash Warmbloods
Only needle that’s ever made me feel horrible was after the peanut butter shot 🤣

You can buy blood type kits on Amazon lol I'm pretty sure that's where I got mine
