ravenwood, that sucks :(

-Click- My good boy. I am hoping to do some jumping with him eventually.
Ravenwood Farm
I'd really like to get into riding again, but the riding school in my area just isn't what it used to be. Now their horses are spooky and don't get proper training it seems :/

My next step is going to be getting back into a lease when I have the free cash, but currently I do not. Dumping all my spare cash every month into a debt repayment plan

Cali Ahh exciting! My boy is nearly ready for the veteran classes, he'll be 14 in July so hoping for the VHS qualifiers for 2027 with him! I don't blame you at all, Woody loves to jump but he's a giant wimp about fillers and dressed fences, so we generally just bimble around having fun rather than competing nowadays. Thank you! It's the absolute dream, it's really hard to qualify a Suffolk because they're not as flash as the feathery heavies but he's SO nice that it's worth a shot

Ven Don't do it! xD Mines a complete nightmare, its like paying the vet bills for 10 horses. And don't even get me started on their feet! All jokes aside they are the sweetest horses on the planet

ven -- OTTBs are incredible, I also hope to work with one someday. TBs in general are awesome lol

Oak I've been doing some showing qualifiers on my side! Defintly a showjumper though, showing does get a little boring for me and my horse. Good luck at HOYs!
Stormsong Manor
I'm a lifelong equestrian on a little break right now due to finances and lack of time, but the dream is still to own an OTTB
Oakmoss Stud
Entirely fair Min, this is why I cannot be trusted to have land, I'd hoard tiny natives 😆 I keep threatening to buy another youngster but until I get a better job, I absolutely cannot afford to run two
Minerva
Lol Oak- I do think I need one in the next year or so when Teddy's going out and about a bit more as Minnie's screeching about being left behind is really sabotaging the poor sod. But given that hay will be expensive enough this year and Ted will be doing basically shit all until the evenings get lighter again I'll save a bit of farrier money until I need one I think
Oakmoss Stud
Cali, I do! I mostly flat, I do't have the balls for the size of the worker courses you need to jump at my age 🤣 I used to showjump back in the day, but I campaign my spotty boy at county/breed show level and I have the ride on a 6yo Suffolk for the HOYS ridden classes next year/2027
