| @Min Vet bills are also kinda insane since pre covid. It was a little under 600 dollars to treat my mothers dog for a UTI. And the snakes can range from 75-120 just for a yearly wellness check + a 2 hour drive to the only vet who's avaliable for exotic reptiles. |

| @Min No it came off right! But yeah my snakes are pretty expensive as it is and I work alot so I'd feel horrible getting a cat and not be able to give it all the attention in the world. Plus I fear cats are much too curious for their own good, I'd be worried about the snakes constantly striking at their doors thinking kitty is food and hurting themselves. It's just an unfair situation for everyone. |

| Aww thats a real shame Green. Props to you though for being responsible enough to make that choice though- there are plenty of people who would just try to "make it work" and end up neglecting their animals |

| Haha Sting cats are given some of the best names I swear!! Lily- mate its the only way I can describe it- ive never experienced something so foul. Poor lad had colitis- Id taken him in because he'd done some little sicks that morning and after Dad dying really very suddenly in the dining room also that morning I just wanted peace of mind lol. Vets said fair enough and gave him an anti nausea jab and the floodgates to hell opened through the poor little fucker. Really thought id lose him that night, he wasnt looking good. But then he just pinged back after some antibiotics and is now systematically ripping apart all his baby brother's toys 🤣🤣 |

| She's 15 now, acts like a kitten and ironically took no offence to me getting either of the dogs. She genuinely really loves Norm, she tolerates Paddy lol. Currently she's perched on a gatepost like some kind of gargoyle 🤣 |

| Aww bless him! Lily actually was far from neglected lol she belongs to a friend of mine in the village. They had the audacity to get another cat when she was young so she made herself a purely outdoor cat. Then about 6 or 7 years ago they started seeing less of her and she was cropping up on our bins more often- they asked us to start feeding her as she wasnt coming home for it. She lived in our shed for a few years as Dad was adamant against a cat in the house. We started letting her in I think the day after he died 🙈🤣 And we only waited the day because my dog had been really poorly so we thought we'd do it after he'd stopped shitting hell liquid |

| He was a very failed barn cat (found as a very sick kitten) and is a mediocre housecat. Makes a decent dog though. Can't imagine my life without him. |
