All dolphins are whales but not all whales are dolphins. It's like the square and rectangle saying you hear in class

Apparently they are part of the dolphin family but I’ve also seen a lot of things that dolphins are part of the whale family? Or something to do with whales?

Most definitely googleable, my google is very temperamental at the moment lol! I’m unsure if it’s the bad weather causing issues for me, even HEE crashes on me a few times! Thank you for all the answers! They are fairly interesting and I appreciate your responses :)

There's different reasons for it, Stella lol they do get them, though

so according to google it comes down to their skin texture! blue whales have a rougher thick skin which is prime realestate for barnacles but orcas have really smooth skin so barnacles cant really stick to them orcas are also generally alot faster then blue whales, so thats another factor to it lol

Wilf, I feel your pain xD nothing good over here either, no E's in sight even lol, what a day x'D
FirstLightFarms
That seems googleable. But maybe temperatures the whales live in/blue whales have more texture to their skin so theres more for the barnacles to hang onto
BlackRose
I’m a little curious on how Blue Whales have loads of barnacles on them but orcas don’t have any? I assumed it was down to speed but blue whales can be a bit quick also..? Not as fast as orcas but still a bit quick
