Granny, it's been that way for years. I'd walk our great Pyrenees and they would come out. They normally left me alone. Lone star could it be a vampire bat? |

Yeah, that's why I went to the ER. There's bats around here where I live, but they don't usually fly low. This one came straight for me and hung on. It bit me on the neck and when I swatted it away, it kind of just flopped onto the ground before flying away. |

also from what i have been told, even thought .9 percent of bats have rabies, certain species are MUCH more likely to have it. and sick bats are typically the ones who bite, as bats are extremely fearful of people. somebody correct me if im wrong |

How unusual, for a bat to be out in broad daylight. It must indeed have been rabid. |
