| Well I finished back in 2022 so that was the year of the non working keyboard iPad lol 2016-2020 was the first one ^.^ |

| The first iPad had an actual case with a keyboard that worked and the second I got after covid had a connecting keyboard that never worked so I had to type on the screen 🤣 |

| We were never taught it, but I taught myself how to do it. My grandmother really advocated for it, but she was from the 40's and it was a vastly different style. |

| I don't know how people do it with multiple kids. I love it for them if they can manage it but I pour everything into this one kid every day |

| We were taught cursive for 2 years before they stopped it in our classes. I can read cursive but writing its sloppy at best 😬 I can at least sign my name |

| DD same here. My sister is 15 and she can’t read or write it. I just find it sad. And it’s not like my parents tried to teach her themselves either. |

| What I've observed as a parent is that there are a lot of people who think getting their kid to school in the morning and back home in the afternoon is where it stops. They're not working on things at home. They're not engaged with the school and the teachers. They don't show up for the events. They don't ask questions. |
