I love Nachos 🤤 I have to be so careful though I am super allergic to Jalapenos and some of these places down here overload their nachos with it 😠
DSD Training Center
The only good thing I have found is Elephant ears and then the Rodeo nachos. Anything else can leave
Wraithcry Farm
They are so fun to attend and watch. I like the food at some of the local ones lol

I like the rodeos around me a lot because they attract a ton of people headed to the NFR, one of which I know, so we always get a good show. Though this year, there was a horse that died during the Tie Down or something at the Horse Heaven Roundup this year, the day after I went, that unfortunately some of the people I know saw

I have Old Fort Days in the town I work in. Love that thing. Miss the Dandies

There's some smaller ones within like 200 miles of me, but no one really goes to them because the Big 4 (The Horse Heaven Roundup, Walla Walla Frontier Days, Lewiston Roundeup and the Pendleton Roundup,) attract so many people. I have recently gotten interest in roping and barrels and stuff like that, though I've been having to teach Sophie how to rope, but thankfully not run barrels because the guy who trained her also trains barrel horses, so

We have so many rodeos. So many. All year long. I have nothing against them, I started on barrels. I just, ended up discovering I really did not like it. How I ended up slowing down makes no sense to me, but I love and am passionate about what I do now.

There is also associations that have their own circuit but limited number of shows. Like the link I just shared? 5 shows a year lol. The dressage association is about the same where the other circuit will have 7-8 shows and your horse can really be shown off for all its training. I prefer those circuits.

We mainly have western circuts, and the only rodeo stuff we have near me that we can do is like Barrel Club and then stuff you do on your own, but that's because my surrounding rodeos are the Big 4.
Wraithcry Farm
We have maybe 2 circuits that have English and Western events, the rest is rodeo. English is really hard to find and it is also something that is hard to find someone who teaches it safely.
DSD Training Center
We have some big pleasure shows that attract a lot of people from out of state, but we really only have clinics and schooling shows for really any English disciplines.
Wraithcry Farm
I am sorry it is a pet peeve, and I am sorry I struck it, but I am going to stick with what people call it in my area since that makes sense to the people who are around me. And I am also not one who cares about wording either. I am not doing it professionally nor do I plan on competing outside my area. Local only. With that, I am dropping it.
