@Granny, I wish I could say the majority of stupid people I meet is while x-raying them, but no, it's when I'm out in public and not even close to the hospital. XD |

Bird I don't know lol he is one of those crazy Hispanic dudes (not being racist I promise) but he mostly keeps agressive fish like Oscars and cichlids |

@Angels, is he an avid reptile keeper? Or some weirdo who thought an alligator would be a good pet? |

Also on another note, the guy that owns the barber shop across from the pet store I work at has a pet alligator |

I love snakes but I don't touch them unless I know what they are and that they aren't venomous lol. There was once a baby snake under a water trough I was cleaning and I didn't know what it was. I had never seen one around here. I used a shirt to relocate it so I didn't squish it but it ended up being just a little water snake. I took a picture and looked it up after |

Needless to say a lot of people don't see reptiles as pets or even capable of feeling things like hunger or fear. |

@Angels, I am a part of a hognose Facebook group and we once had someone ask why their wild caught hognose wasn't eating. And another person ask why their hognose wasn't eating the crickets she had bought it. Oh, and someone who bought a snake to overcome their fear of them only to throw it across the room. |

Of all the critters one could keep as pets, venomous ones wouldn't make my list. |

@Angel See thats how you get bit, captive breds are alot more chill compared to their wild counterparts. |

We have people come into the pet store more often that you would expect needing a feeder mouse for a copperhead or rattle snake they caught from the wild .-. |
Greenheart Stables |
@Storm It can be as long as its done properly and I'm not mishandling it like some keepers ive seen on social media. And the venom is mild compared to most captive kept venomous snakes. |

I'd Acually would love to one day get a captive bred copperhead. They're the ones that really got me into the snake world... by getting bitten by one as a kid lmao |

I remember one eating an entire litter of kittens when i was a kid...never been a fan lol |
