And this is why I clean Sophies hooves morning and night. No idea how it fit in there. She's a rather small mare (14.2), and has small hooves. This thing was at least an inch wide. -Click-

Dying of excitement! Took my horse to the farm down from us where we used to stable him since we're really good friends with the owner and like hanging out there. She had a new pony in called Roy who was super skinny, shy and had just recovered from ringworm. Fell in love with him like i never have. Owner asked me if i could fix his flymask but warned me he was super faceshy. Managed to sort that out and literally spent the whole time with him. Got a text today asking if i'd like to work with him so i'm going over tommorow!

I want to live in a perfect environment. 65- 70 is great not too hot not too cold

Oh bless him, it's so difficult with the native types! Woody's a giant princess and can run quite cold tbf, when he was eventing fit and fully peeled (head off, the lot) he used to be be in a 450g xD If you rough him off a bit now, hopefully you won't have to rug up too much later on

Agreed. Minnie's grown a proper thick winter coat so she's only had a rug on below 0. Did 100 the first time but went down to a 50 the other day as she'd sweated a bit even with just 100! Ted is mostly my dilemma- he's had fly rugs on all summer and it seems to have interfered with his coat growth a fair bit- he's been an absolute wuss since September xD But he's also started getting too hot so I'm thinking I might just call it a day and see if he'll grow something better if I leave him to brave it while it's still fairly warm. Neither of them have seen anything warmer than 150 lol, it's definitely saving me some money!
