I used to have a professor who wanted students to ask questions just so he could argue with him. He must of had issues with self confidence because he believed he had to prove he was right about everything.
LOL well if that's all then I guarantee if he's not happy with an apology email he's not worth worrying about. Professors have to deal with arrogant students and staff and parents ALL the time
