@Versa, he settled down and has not been acting stressed since Tuesday. |

We're just staying with family and I know they have vets in the area. It's just a hard decision for me because if I don't go I would be home alone with little to no human contact. I am not comfortable boarding Finley or having someone come on watch him so he would have to come if I do go. |

@Athena, I was thinking the same thing! But also, what if it stresses him out and it makes him worse. 😖 |

I had Thelma boarded a few times while I was away even with sneezing. They never rejected her stay. They aren't necessarily unable to travel with allergies, but it needs to be remembered that they should be taken home or to a vet in that area if it gets worse or if they seem ill |

Hey theres the chance taking him with you gets him away from whats causing it |
Versailles |
Well, that is kitty snot lol. Usually it's pretty wet. A good sign of a healthy nose, but it sounds like an outside allergen for sure! |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Athena, nope, nothing like that. I was hoping to take him to Texas with me, but I feel like I can't with him sneezing. |

He doesn't have any eye or nose discharge. Just sneezes a lot. They are rather wet though because I have felt it when he sneezes on me. XD |
Versailles |
Before that, I removed all of my wax melters, changed to unscented cat litter, changed to dust free cat litter, and even got an air purifier... Nothing changed crap. Only the shots helped |
Timberland Drafts |
Hummer If you use body mist or anything scented on yourself it could also affect him but I'm with Versa with it being something outside. If its just sneezing id honestly just wait and see if it disappears as summer moves on |
Versailles |
The only thing that helped her were allergy shots. And even then, it only helped to a degree. She had FAR less snot, but still consistently sneezed, albeit less |
Versailles |
Just depends on what pollens are in the air and, of course, which ones are in your areas as opposed to his prior home. And then yeah, air fresheners of any type- even the "pet safe" wax melts |
Versailles |
Yep! When I had my two black rescues, the fluffy one, Thelma, had horrible amounts of sneezing and sometimes even some snot. Sketti sneezes too, more on some days than on others |
