If she continues throwing a tantrum, the police might arrest her, I think |

Ground blooms are my favourite! These ones crackle and glitter everywhere alongside the usual spinning and colour changing. |

Athena, They don't even try here since mortars and other highly explosive stuff are 100% legal. The sheer number of calls the police would receive and the drama isn't worth trying to control a quiet hour. |
Sunset River Arabian |
Versa I believe they have to give a warning first anyway. Ask you to stop and such and then if you continue than you'd get the ticket. Not 100% sure though. Also I love ground blooms |
Sunset River Arabian |
Hummer I would definitely ask about it once you do switch. They can help with so many things |
Versailles |
Oh this lady is having a FIT type fit. Full on rage screaming louder than the crackle ground blooms. But they're so tiny, why would an officer yell at me for that? I kinda don't want a ticket tonight. On the opposite side of the coin, there AREN'T any restrictions tonight by the county. So like...? |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Athena, I wouldn't mind trying a new medication, but I am not happy with my vet right now and am probably switching. |
Dash and Duchess |
Versa, I've been through that, this lady very obnoxiously stomped over to my family who were using ground based fireworks just like you, and demanded we stop because it was too late...it was 8pm and the town fireworks hadn't gone off yet even XD |
Versailles |
Quiet hours don't exist tonight anyways in this county, they take them away for the Fourth |
Sunset River Arabian |
Glacier Noise ordinances are a thing even on the 4th. To be fair alot of police go easy on them that day unless there is a fit being thrown |
Versailles |
I guess maybe I just continue then and the police can tell her to cork it if they're called out here |
Sunset River Arabian |
Maybe try another type? Like humans, dogs can be allergic to one type but good wirh another |
Glacier Bay Cove |
If the police do get called, it's your yard and you are not doing anything wrong, Versa |
Sunset River Arabian |
You should be able to call your vet and he can just prescribe them if he already knows your dog. Doesn't even need an appointment or at least mine doesnt |
Hummingbird Meadows |
@Athena, we started him on anxiety meds, but they were making him sick so we stopped. |
Sunset River Arabian |
Downer? Like anxiety meds. Like a light tranquilizer. Makes them a little sleepy and more relaxed. Some people give them to their dogs before grooming visits as well |
