@Maple My boy had what I thought was a dented eye cap from being dehydrated/ not properly humidity, which was weird since his humidity has been pretty stable at 68 percent. I let him out to roam for a bit and he rubbed off what was actually a stuck eye cap shed. I have to cancel his vet appointment I made since he wasn't "improving" from me hyping up his humidity in the morning since It was a false alarm. He had me worried lol
Before I moved, I was called to come back and assist in teaching a couple of the courses. I didn't have to speak or anything, but they'd come to me for help on assignments. I'd have lost it if I caught students fighting each other.
Revel, Humans are selfish... I'm grateful that the zookeeping students are rational, and reasonable, but also generally kind and caring. I imagine it'll be different once I resume my veterinary career.
Wolf, Some things take time, sadly. But I'm sure you have the capability to get it done <3 Believe!
Versa I have a few friends like that in other classes, but no-one like that in this class, I'm a junior in a class of tight knit seniors so I didn't really get a choice to be picky
@Versa, I wish I could find a friend like that. My whole college experience has been people being SO competitive to the point of cutting others down for their benefit.
Revel, Thankfully this other girl was as quiet and shy as I was, lol. But she got a couple of good grades, I got a couple of good grades, and there came a mutual understanding of we both cared about the class. So we took care of each other. :)
@Wolf, I had a teacher tell me the same thing in middle school, that I HAD to have a partner. Then my Mom got involved and told her my daughter either does this assignment alone or not at all. XD
Versa Typically that's what I do as well, I always get taken advantage of but this was a project that you had to have a partner for otherwise you wouldn't get full credit. But now I have to do it alone since the cirumstances changed. But it means I need to change the whole plan >>
Went through all of college and still kept the same mindset... Although I did trade notes with one girl on numerous occasions. She'd borrow my journal and put sticky notes of stuff I missed, and I'd borrow her textbook and highlight/write sticky notes of what she missed. We're good friends to this day.
Wolf, I was always an "assignment loner" when it comes to school, lol. I dealt with someone like her once, was crazy mad, and decided I only ever wanted to rely on myself- even if it made the workload bigger. I figured, the benefit of doing a two person assignment alone, meant I learned more. :)
Hummmer We signed up for this on the 2nd day of school before the marketing research presentation plan was presented/due so I didn't know she would flake out this badly.
