There currently are 39 2 year old wild WWW horses and 13 3 year old wild WWW horses. Not sure if they were all captured yesterday, I believe a couple were captured at other times. But it gives you an idea.

They let you change the appearance of your horse- it won't change genetics, but it'll randomly choose from all the possible patterns and shades for that particular horse each time you use one. You can't reverse them though so it's a bit of a gamble
