| Well, it's not like they have much choice. The stud book is closed and they have specific requirements for registration. It used to be that chestnuts were allowed to be registered, but that changed many years ago. |

| Stella you can use studs and/or broods so you dont need to buy two horses. Id pick up a knab stud with the best rating you can find cheaply and then chuck him at cheap appy mares until the quest completes |

| What’s the best way to do this quest, do I just buy two LpLps? Breed a homozygous Appaloosa foal. This is a foal with two dominant Leopard Complex genes:LpLp. Both parents must be Appaloosa to have a chance at a LpLp foal. |
