| I was young when it happened to my Mom, but if it had happened today I would have berated that doctor so bad! Being in the medical field has given me a lot of confidence and knowledge. |

| @Imp, looking back I don't think they did any testing outside of blood tests which was stupid. @Wolf, do whatever you feel you can without overdoing it! Walking is always good after a surgery! |

| Fern At least my dads insurance is good and I have MediCare since I was in the foster system so that should cover the worst of it hopefully >> |

| Revel The doctors assumed it was just a burst cyst so they weren't too worried about it x.x then the looked at the CT scan after like 20min and came rushing over and had my parents sign paperwork as we were going to surgery lol |

| I mean today my big achievement was walking around a bit more and taking a shower... tomorrow I'm going to go grocery shopping with my mom to sorta see how long I can stand/walk without a break lol I do plan trying to go to school next week so I need to be able to walk around and stand |

| @Wolf, the same thing happened to my Mom and the idiot doctor sent her home from the ER with the stomach flu. =/ She would have died had she not gone back just 8 hours later and seen a different doctor. |

| Uh yeah so that happened I almost died because of it... Dr said if we had waited 12-24 more hours I would have died since my colon died and I went septic xD |

| Pera Uh my colon decided to be dramatic, twist itself 360 degrees back my kidneys up create lungs issues and dragged my appendix with it xD |
