Apricot is real and the genes defined. Just not particularly common. There def can be "confusion" between dun and buckskin esp old school folks but now with gene testing much easier to say

Yeah the one that baffled me the most was apricot, I have never seen someone refer to their horse as apricot in real life haha. But maybe it is a geographical thing, as I have seen plenty of people calling their buckskins things like chocolate dun and mouse dun 😂
The Old Gods
I need to start up a crappy horse pasture for these homozygous color quests
Rainview
Yeah its just to differentiate. Same way there is a "P2" gene on here they have only found P1 in RL
Ashcroft Park Stud
Yeah I was just trying to find a reference, I assumed it would be the same as perlino but wondered if there was something obvious I was missing lol. And sure, Hails
Campbell Equestrian
Looks like it’s actually a perlino but maybe in the game they come up with another name as I know we have perlino on here too
Rainview
So technically "brown creme" isn't a real color at this point - perhaps when they dig into bay coloring more they'll find more info...
Rainview
"Brown" isn't a color identified irl. Its either black (E/? a/a) bay (E/? A/?) or chestnut (e/e any agouti)
Skye's Paradise
It'd seem kind of cool to have that be in the horse search page, so you could easily look up horses you've sold that have your brand to see how they're doing.
Ashcroft Park Stud
Can anyone good at genetics tell me if the colour ‘brown creme’ is called something else outside the game? Tried googling but nothing comes up x)
Skye's Paradise
I've never done brands before, so sorry for the stupid question, but do they stay with the horse if they're sold? I'm assuming so.
