| our farrier actually showed my moom how to properly rasp our horses feet when we first got him as a rescue because he had alot of past trauma around his feet and hes been great for years now |

| Geek If you know how to trim them correctly and have experience doing so you can avoid taking off too much. And I have ridden them for 20 years, spent 15 years studying up to a pre veterinary level, and I'm still learning every day with them. That's the beauty of the industry, there are always more things to learn from and higher education to attain |

| I'd have a heart attack trimming my horse's hooves, when I get one. I don't feel like hurting them unintentionally. But sure, I'll 'educate' myself, eve though I've studied horses, their behaviors, etc, since I was little. |
