| I got blood poisoning from a sick hamster bite in 7th grade. It died the same morning I went to school with a blown up finger and red stripe traveling down my finger and hand. My mother threw it in the garbage. Narrowly avoided rabies shots because we didn't have the corpse for testing. Pediatrician ultimately decided I didn't need rabies shots because the risk from a hamster was so crazy low. Just strong antibiotics. Fun times. |
