Welcome! After almost a year back playing HEE I feel like I'm really starting to hit my stride with my Thoroughbreds and wanted to establish a forum page to document everything! Windy Hollow is purely focused on AD Thoroughbreds, aiming for the leaderboards. I try to avoid sabino as best I can - but boy is that hard! I have several non-sabino TB color projects I'm breeding my way up; I focus on red base coats, dun, rabicano and splash - all sabino free. Forum threads I regularly update: 199 | WW-WWW TB Mares! TBLB & Shiny! Barns that may be of interest: The Boys W+ Public Broods WW Mares & WWW Mares [occasionally offered for embryo in that forum thread!] I want to keep building out my little HEE community, especially in the TB breeding world, so if you're a TBLB breeder and looking to connect shoot me a message! I'm also always interested in brood/embryo trades! Edited at February 2, 2026 08:42 AM by Windy Hollow Farms

199 Update: Probably one of my best ROs to date, and ironically my least well planned. RL has been crazy this year and so I planned 0 matches for my WWW girls. I ended up with 2 WWWs / 4 WWEs / 13 WEEs which is my strongest year to date. Both of my WWWs were fillies - a first! - and all my WWEs were chestnuts. Unfortunately my WWW freshie did not debut well. I had a feeling, as his training was lackluster, but that was my big dissapointment this RO. I woke up early and was able to snag 2 of 月 Stormrage prl 's public cover slots, and he graced me with 2 fillies: WWW filly, out of my #43 TBLB mare who has not given me a single W since her first colt EWW filly, out of a WWE wild mare from the capture event back in November. Both picked up a single copy of sabino, but with TBLB horses its so difficult to avoid at this point. I had a nice RF surpise when one of my single W mares threw a WWW filly with 𓆱Cömpass - without sabino too! It's the second time I've lucked out with a WWW from him off a single W mare, he's one of my go-to's every RO because of that. I had another RF surprise with a WWE out of an EEE color mare, by my TBLB stud ⍦ Tempest WWW. ⍦ Tempest WWW graced me with a stunning WWE liver chestnut tobiano colt out of a single W mare too. And then I lucked out with another red WWE colt by 月 Bearmantle prl out of a WW brood I had that reserved, only to belatedly realize she would not match well with my failed freshie. He doesn't get a ton of love because he's boring [bay roan tobiano] BUT he is Ee Aa Tb so he can throw some surprising color! Like a lot of red as seen above! He is a solid boy when paired with a mare strong in scope, and I keep him quite cheap for a TBLB stud in the mid #20s to mid #30s at only 30k [because he is boring]! PM me for straws if you're interested! I have a few 2nd embryos to breed yet, so I'm hoping for at least another W+ out of that. Stay tuned! Edited at February 2, 2026 08:52 AM by Windy Hollow Farms

199 | It's a wrap! Breeding is complete and it definitely was my best year to date in terms of volume of quality: W/W/W: 3 E/W/W: 2 W/W/E: 3 E/E/W: 4 W/E/E: 6 E/W/E: 11 I wanted to call out my final WWW - a buckskin pearl tobi boy I am really hoping his mother will debut on the leaderboards in 200, and he'll be a second TBLB stud for me 🤞 I was graced with several surprise WEE in my color breeding, which has me feeling optimistic that my herd has gained a lot of strength over the ROs. My dun program hit the lottery in 199 with: WEE red dun tobi no sabino colt, and... an EWE grullo tobiano splash white sabino brindle filly. She is only Sbsb, so I'll take the loss there. I am really hoping these two can be the cornerstone of building towards eventual WWW duns, and leaderboard duns, so a lot to be happy with! See you next RO! 200 Oops, I swore I posted an update, but it seems I didn't! 200 was a good year for me. All my purchased embryos resulted in WWWs (thank you Florestä for your lovely mares!) and had 2 surprise WW mares. First up, the boys. I could not dodge SbSb, but he makes up for it by being prlprl and palomino. My red boy exceeded my expectations, Tobi, Rabicano, and pearl. Both are up all for week 4, so fingers crossed for week 7, I'd love to get a pair of leaderboard boys. Now for the fillies. I was insanely excited about my WWW filly, she's so shiny! Unfortunately she is not training well, and I fear the color curse has struck again. Then my surprises: my homebred TBLB stud Tempest always throws me something interesting and 200 was no expection. He tossed me two WWE fillies, the palomino is training like a beast. The blue roan less so, but I still have hope! Also ended up with a ton of single W boys for color breeding. All in all a successful RO!

201 | Windy's Flop Era Well, it had to happen eventually right? 201 was to date my most expensive year [accountant had several heartattacks as did I] and also my biggest RO flop. The amount of EEEs I bred out of WWWxWWW matches was staggering. Before we get into the bad stuff, my wins: A WWW colt, he's unavoidably Sbsb, but I love the silver + roan. Hoping he trains up nicely. A very unexpected WWW out of my wonderful leaderboard boy, Tempest, and an EWE mare who is a tremendous producer (3 WEEs, 2 WWEs, and now 1 WWW). All her daughters have continued to be excellent producers, so I'm optimistic this sabino free filly will be a strong addition to my mare herd. Finally, my TBLB mare threw a respectable EWW filly with Chazz. There was no way of avoiding sabino, but I'd hoped to dodge SbSb and failed. Still, she's pretty and I'm hoping she ends up being strong. Joy has another embryo by Bearmantle sitting that I'm waiting for a dressage medal to implant, but I have low expectations. The rest of my year featured several million+ dollar flops, my freshie debuting poorly, and my whole WWW mare herd minus Joy producing only EEEs. Truly one for the books. All that said, I did finally found a sabino free tb breeding club and already have a few wonderful members who have put up some of their TBLB studs at a discount. If you're looking to breed sabino free, please considering joining! Edited at April 4, 2026 08:30 AM by Windy Hollow Farms
