Well, the highlight of my Christmas season was seeing a nativity taking place under an overpass. Sad part is we paid for it. 😆

No problem! They aren't as heavily feathered as they once were since they crossed TBs back into the Norman lines

It's due to their origins as work horses for the most part :) A lot of their crossings came from norman draft horses with native irish horses to created the RID. They also has TB in them in order to have stamina

Thank you! Way back when they were first created they couldn't do jumpers like they can now and such. Nowadays they're good at everything but they used to be work horses that could be reliable and smooth riding horses

So is draught a more lightweight than a standard draft breed? They originate from drafts so is that why they aren't considered a draft breed?

They were bred for farm work and riding horses. Modern day ones aren't true to what they used to be

The primary reason Irish Draught (RID) horses are not classified as traditional "drafts" is that while they are powerful, their conformation was developed for versatility as a riding and general-purpose farm horse, rather than solely for the heavy pulling work that defines true heavy draft breeds like Shires or Belgian here u go peoplee

Draught and draft are different. Draught can be ridden and jumped as well as used to pull. Draft is for pulling. :D

I'm so confused cause draught is the British spelling of draft. Are they really not draft breeds?

I'm going to be repeating this match again next month.
Gonna try to sven it, but if I don't have the funds, I'm going to use a D medal again.

So excited to see what that match gives you! Hopefully a tobi filly this time :D

Also I'm looking for 1 or 2 more shiny SH broods for 155. Preferably WW or WWW and on mid-upper SHLB. They'd be sent to top ABLB boys with items!

Hey guys! I am looking for input on the OST tier once he retires... I could keep that upper tier going if I can come up with some good enough benefits. We already do SVEN, but I couldn't do straw discounts or OST yearling $. Any thoughts?? Should I work to keep it alive if there might still be interest in having a 100k tier? What would you guys want in it if so? =)

I'd definitely be interested in keeping the tier around! I enjoy the perks and I'm sure we could figure something else out regarding the perks

Definitely still keep it around for the extra incentive of the Sven and possibly other higher level goodies depending on interest!
