I don't think its the wk4. As I had a 4/6 wk4 EWW girl debut #30 this month and she gave Lucky a WWW as well.

Hmm... She's such a great Producer! I'd think that she would be higher, but there must be some other factor or something we players don't know about :b That or I'm completely off and forgetting something, which is highly possible xD

I think the lesson to be learned is, never judge a horse's potential by its LB placement.

It took me a long time to learn that LB placement isn't everything. I've had high ABLB mares not throw crap and 20-40LB mares throw consistent strong foals. When I look at broods now, I pay more attention to foals' strength (and let's be honest, color xD) than anything else. If a mare produces strong foals, I'll pick her every time over a high ranking LB mare with meh foals. |

I also pay more attention to production, but I never really thought too much about the exact factors that go into LB placement. I knew that it wasn't all foal production, but I likely would not have guessed that it was only 25% Cool Unkown, I shall check it out! |

Yup, 25% foal strength, 75% mare strength. My cull & stable revamp is going well so far ^.^ Regardless of the outcome of next month's WBLB brood match (this month was actually pretty good for me, so though I'm excited for the match, I'm not going to get my hopes up quite yet) , afterwards it'll be 2 months of saving, culling, and match contemplation. I'll probably be on the lookout for broods throughout my 2 months off, especially promising and/or high LB mares descended from Aris or my Moonsprite lines in general, so if you have a mare you think I may be interested, please feel free to shoot me a PM! Also, if anyone is interested in reserving a brood, even to Eos, my WEE filly from this month, for during those two months I'll be saving, please PM me! I'm willing to do discounts for high LB studs and items above glasses. |
