G o r g e o u s ! Loving all of the works <3 I'm getting bored of doing the same thing over and over again. It's why I've drawn my first fantasy ponies recently (sea pony, fluff ball unicorn, Proelium, and that weird demon thing). Would LOVE some help finding new things to draw, whether that's new fantasy horses or some other creature. I really want to be able to do humans, but I hate what I make of them SO much that trying to learn it is just... So frustrating... I always give up. I can get a decent head shape, but everything else flops 😭 |

Super duper cute Mish!! <3 The only few suggestions and advice I have that I've learned over the years are body shapes, proportions, and length/width. Normally, horses' legs are the same heighth as their torso is, so when you're drawing try your best to keep them as even as possible unless it's a foal (foals are just naturally lanky looking with their long legs which they obviously grow into later on) or if you just want your character to look that way. But for breeds such as Quarter horses or any heavy horses, the height from the bottom of their belly to the top of their withers will match the length of their legs. Also, when you're drawing the basic shapes of the horse, it helps to draw the straightest possible line across the horse's back because the point of their hip and their withers are always going to be the same height. Unless their spine or hip is injured or the horse is in a movement such as a gallop and they lift their hind/front legs in a manner that makes their back curve (such as jumping/landing a jump) then you dont necessarily have to worry about drawing that line. Other than that, you did a great job on the proportions of the head, which the head will be almost the same length and sometimes the overall size of it will match their chest. So, keep that in mind (: If you want, I could make a little step by step visual drawing tutorial on how I draw proportions and sketch out my horses? |

I knew the bum was tall. Was going to redo it, but Oakky said Roley is butt high, so I just turned le pony into him lol. All that info is really neat and helpful, though! I'll be sure to work it into my next drawings. A tutorial would be cool, but you don't have to if you aren't feeling like it :) |

I'll definitely work on getting a tutorial out sometime soon for y'all <3 And I'm glad you found it helpful, most of what i told you was basically drilled into my head by my grandma, I used to draw super long legs and then she told me off xD Just hope I didn't sound as harsh as she was- |

You're good lol. A lot of my proportions are stylistic choices, but I'm also working for some better points on the "real" scale too. |
