I'm sorry I missed the club arena show. I was planning to enter but with my internet problems I'm still struggling to get my normal showing for the week done.

My big match won't be until 112. It's my PEE filly x Prestur. I hope it goes well. I may or may not brood her out instead depending on the amount of money I have because I seem to go broke really fast
Though my BIG match is on another account. PEE x Ziti. I also have an EEP x Barnabas. Edited at September 14, 2018 09:09 AM by galadrigal

I think IÂ’m on schedule SD and ebs-wise to start AD by Christmas whoop. Everyone suggests starting with PEP Mares, correct?

I personally started with PPP and worked with those until I started breeding a lot of PEP combos. :)
I think it gives you time to strengthen your herd without spending tons of ebs.

I had much better luck starting with quality PEE combo mares. I tried this on several accounts/breeds and personally I'd much rather have 1-2 PEE mares and send them to top studs.
But naturally it depends on what budget you'll be playing at and the way you like doing things. PEE KNNs can be hard to buy, so you maybe you can use some PEPs until you get some PEE fillies, then ditch the original mares.
There is no right or wrong way, but for me starting with fewer but classier mares certainly was the key to getting decent EEEs. I certainly have a lot of respect for people who bred them up from the bottom too!

I agree with both Kass and While.
I'd try to get the best quality mares you can afford and breed them to the best quality studs that you can afford. Sometimes PPP-Ecombo mares can end up being great quality, or even just great starter mares. And, since you will be starting out, you still somewhat have control over the future weaknesses of your herd. I HIGHLY recommend investing in a nice mare with strong Int and/or Scp, weather it be via a brood or the mare herself. Basically all AD EEE KNNs are weak in Int and/or Scp, so its extremely helpful to have nice producing mares who are strong in at least one of those traits.

Ahh those matches sound great!!
I think Im gonna try Leo's dam 1 more time with Prestur. Otherwise, pretty much everything is getting brooded out. I haven't been doing much saving this month (oops!) So ill have to see what else I can plan.
