This is Illrens last year, before he retires. I have dropped the price of his LC stud fee to half price. I would love to see as many Illren babies as possible before he goes. Thank you to all who have supported my boy. :) Edited at September 9, 2022 07:45 PM by Luckycharmz

Hi all! I joined the club this month and this is my first post here 👋 I have been trying to seriously re-establish my stable over the past few months after a long hiatus and TWS has already been so helpful.
I'd appreciate any help testing this EWW TB boy next month as I am still working on getting some quality mares in my barn. There will be free LCs up for the club and I can send straws out if preferred.
I am also casually looking for WEE/WWE TB broods to use on him myself, please shoot me a PM if you've got any available! Thank you!!

Can you guys help? I can't figure out why this guy hasn't sold. He's currently #12 WBLB and has been on the leaderboards since age 3. I think I have him reasonably priced but maybe I'm wrong? What are your thoughts? https://horseeden.com/horse.php?id=29120201

With the current market and the changes in the game people save all the ebs they can and you need to be extremely lucky to sell horses/straws/broods. It's at the point where you need to hurl ebs at people to get mares/stallions tested now... Elite Perfection said: Can you guys help? I can't figure out why this guy hasn't sold. AL is correct, times are tight. I buy and sell a lot of high rated horses. Many I purchase to resell at a higher price and others I buy because I know I will sell lots of LCs and straws. I have looked at your guy as a possible investment but he had a couple things going against him. First, the price is too high for this time in the game. Just for context, a few weeks ago I purchased the current #14 for 1.3 million. Your guy has too many straws out for me plus people are not using his LCs. I knew I could fix the use part but the straws would take a while to be available. #12 on the boards does not mean what it used to with the market the way it is now. Just to put things into a little bit of perspective, I bought the #7 PON (also 8 years old) for 750k. Elite Perfection said: Can you guys help? I can't figure out why this guy hasn't sold. Well I was looking at lower placed horses that are listed for way more than him when I listed. So how do you tell what to list for? As far as the straws, that part is easy :D I took a lot because I like to use items when doing the breedings. Those would be easy to send over to the new owner. Looking at what horses are listed for is not really useful for you. I can list a low LB horse for 5 million but that doesn't mean he will ever sell for that or even that he is worth that. You pretty much need to follow what horses have sold for in the past month or two. If a horse doesn't sell for me in 2 weeks I drop the price. Another couple weeks I'll drop it again. If I really need to move the horse I will drop the price again. Sales are really down right now. I check WWW sales daily and enjoy buying low and selling at a profit. IMO your boy is priced high for the current market. Elite Perfection said: Well I was looking at lower placed horses that are listed for way more than him when I listed.
