I agree. I asked my dad, who grew up, and owned a horse, if he ever did that. He said he'd never hurt his mare, because, despite not liking horses much, he still knows they're living beings.

Their is very very very little laws against livestock abuse horses don't count as pets they fall into the same category as sheep and cows. If the law payed morse attention to the abuse in the horse industry the horse industry would be so much better to

Agreed. I have seen worse, and better. What really pisses me off, however, is Amish people abusing their horses, and the law doesn't go after them.

He has a good way of exp things but he's super aggressive and prone to outbursts where he will just reef on his horses face kick the shit out of them and beat the life out of them for zero reason..I've shown against him and he ruined a whole batch of cows for the cutting then just got pissed off and scratched all of his horses out of every single class screamed at the office lady and left ;p

My premium ran out so I can't access the club right now. I've already purchased a new one, just waiting for it to go through, but once it comes in I'll look at the club funds and see if we can't afford a little capture party event for St. Patty's Day. :D

I don't have a lot of exciting matches this year, I don't have as much time so I'm only breeding two RID's this year ( Veronica and Xanthene ). Hopefully, to a previous stud I used that threw me a EWE with one of my mares xD?

Otherwise, all my other girls will be available for brood.

Whoops! Long time no chat.

How was everybody's RO? Anybody get anything good?

I'm very excited about the new Tobi stud, he gave me an EWE Tobi colt. Would've liked it to be a filly, but as it is I'm not complaining.

Also have these mares available for brood. Open to offers, especially for club members- many are RIDLB.

I'm also thinking of hosting a club contest soon, since it's been awhile. What would y'all like to see? What prizes, what sort of contests? Let me know!

Hi, I am new here to the group. Thank-you for letting me join. I want to breed a line of show horses in this awesome breed mainly in dressage and cross country . But it is hard to find RID horses especially good quality ones. Any suggestions please ?

Welcome to the club!

It sounds like you want to do SD RIDs. The best way to build up a good string of them would be to start with high-quality broods and straws, but a lot of SD breeders keep their lines closed, so you may have to start with W SD mares that aren't necessarily going to be LB quality, and breed up from there.
