About halfway through Iron Flame. I am so addicted it's crazy! Anyone else pre-ordered her next book Onyx Storm? Because I am tapping my toes awaiting it to be released :) |

I read Fourth Wing, but havent read Iron Flame yet although I have the book. I loved FW but its a bit too heavy on the romance for my taste so thats why I'm a bit hesitant to read IF. (side note: I LOVE all the editions of FW and IF. I have the holiday editions) My current read is The Reapparance of Rachel Price by Holly Jackson. I love all of her books. I'm also reading a lot of fanfiction right now. Currently reading one thats just under 1,000 pages |

Iron Flame is definitely heavy on the romance too- but they go more into second year training both on dragons and on the ground! I am loving it so far but if heavy romance is not your thing I would not recommend it for sure.

Its complicated :) Here the description from amazon Kestra Dallisor has spent three years in exile in the Lava Fields, but that won't stop her from being drawn back into her father's palace politics. How is the spice level? I skipped *those* scenes in Fourth Wing, but if there is a lot more of those in Iron Flame, then it'll just be too much of a hassle. Otherwise I can tolerate the PG-13 romance lol
