On the First Day of Christmas... This is the official announcement of our very first activity in December! Our Elves have worked extremely hard to come up with activities for you guys, and now we just have to get them all planned out, and prizes thrown in the mix! This post will only contain the activity for now, I will update this post with it's correlating prizes later! ----- December 1st - 8 PM GT Word Scrambler We will unleash a list of 20 scrambled words, that you are in charge of unscrambling! We will have 3 prizes for each placing. These prizes identies could be kept a secret simply to hold the excitement! The first 3 people to send the completely unscrambled list to one of our team members, will win a prize! Good luck! - The Grinches, and their Elf team! <3 |

On the Second Day of Christmas... This post will only contain the activity for now, I will include the prizes later! ----- December 2nd - Released at 8 PM GT Short Story Contest This one will be a super fun one to work around, and will include a surprise at the end! You will have 3 days to put together a short story! The Elves and I will be checking for plagiarism and such, so please beware. Just keep it very short, simple, and preferrably within the Christmas topic! Poems are also accepted! This will lead us into our next event, 3 days later... So stay tuned! |

On the Third Day of Christmas... This post will only contain the activity for now, I will include the prizes later! ----- December 3rd - 8 PM GT Charades As we are still working out the minor details to this one, we have the basics! The club will have an active scoreboard that I will keep open in the Charades forum that will be published closer in time, and It's pretty much every person for themselves. Our elves will start out by throwing you hints. You get a maximum of 5 hints, PLUS a genere/category (Movies, Books, Fish, Animals, etc...) before you are eliminated from that specific round. Who ever guesses first, gets the tally. Of course, who ever ends up with the most points in the end, wins. There will be 3 placings just as our first event concluded with. Prizes will be awarded to each and every placing, and we will potentially throw some other prizes in as extras as well! :) We will do this for about an hour before we tally up a total, and may go a bit longer if you guys would prefer. |

On the Fourth Day of Christmas... This post will only contain the activity for now, I will include the prizes later! ----- December 4th - 8 PM GT Movie Night As the title says, we will pretty much just have one giant movie night chat. We (The Elves) will throw out a character, or scene from the movie they are thinking of, and it is your job to take the correct guess! Just like charades, we will have a public tally board... but we will not have a limit on hints. More details to come when the movie night takes place! TV Shows are included! Hints that include a letter of the movie/show name are not allowed. |

On the Fifth Day of Christmas... This post will only contain the activities for now, I will include the prizes later! ----- December 5th - 7 PM GT/8 PM GT Short Story Review & Beginning of Short Story Book Cover Contest This will mark the final due date of our short story contest! ALL entries will be sent into the thread given by 7 PM GT, which will be made in the time to come... and the top 3 stories will be featured on the front page of our general chat! This then leads the question of what else we have going on that day... Come to learn, we have something in store for our artisits that is fully linked to this! As an artist, you can pick one short story to create a cover for, and you have 3 days as well. Yes, this is a short time period... but it isn't meant to be the up most perfect piece ever. Just something quick, easy, and maybe a bit funny to go with the short story of your choosing!
With that being said, you may enter for more than one short story if you think you have the time, but in the end? If there are enough entries, you will only likely be chosen for one. 3 Days from now, we will wrap up our Cover Contest, and choose 3 covers to throw onto the general chat's main page with thier matching short stories. We will likely do this each year, and cycle them out. :) Hopefully this gives our artists something fun to do within this time. Only 3 winners for this as well, of course... and all of you will recieve prizes that will be listed later in time! |
