Hey Folks,
I'm going to put this up in the air before I make this a club. I would really like some feedback on this idea.
"Horse Eden Mustang Makeover" or HEMM would be run for three months just like the real thing (give or take a couple days).
The idea would be you the contestant would catch your "mustang" in Capture A Horse. It can be any breed you like and it can only be one. You would not rate the horse. You would train the horse for three months until we have the official HEMM show with home arenas. The top three horses would win prize money. I havent thought it through but something like
- 1st place - 50k
- 2nd place - 25k
- 3rd place - 12.5k
This is up to change but I kinda like the price range.
You're probably asking yourself why? Why not rate the horse? Why three months? I will tell you. Its to give everyone a fair shot of winning in this game of chance. See what I did there. Chance. Like Chance stable. Anyway. The three month limit can be changed but I like the idea of having no idea what youre getting in too. Just like real horses. Once the HEMM show is run andwhether or not your horse does good or not you can then rate them.
Additional ideas would be:
- Capturing a two year old over three year old but I think thats your preferance to make.
- Once / if this idea is run the horses would be "Registered" on a list. This would mainly be for whos sighing up.
- The top three winners would be featured until the next three winners are named.
-There would be other prizes, maybe tack, decor, rider apparel and so on.
- Each horse would get their own "Remark Brand". (Im still thinking about this but its crossed my mind)
Please let me know if this sounds like a dumb idea or if I should go ahead and try the first "HEMM". Also please give me ideas if you think I could change things to run them smoother. |

Yes of course! It would raise your chances but to be fair the horse would still be unrated until the show is over |
