Wow, and I thought I was all alone out there in Eden land with wanting to keep my lines pure. I joined back around year 132 I think. I've been trying to keep my lines pure, breed up stats/ratings, AND work on color within my lines. I prefer the SH. But have been told by many that it is limited. And the only way to really raise my lines is by bring other breeds in. Ugh. And to top it off, it's so very hard to find others breeding strictly pure SH. And none have been willing to part with better rated horses resulting from their breeding programs. So that has meant constantly bringing in new blood with WILDS, which of course are generally lower rated..., unless you get lucky and capture anything above PPP. The Es and Ws are possible in combos ( but few and far), but I've never in all the years I've played, captured a EEE horse, let alone a WWW!

In the last month I just started adding KN to some new breedings in order to help with some ratings, but especially color. I REALLY dislike Roans, in RL and especially in the game. And unfortunately it seems like 98% of the higher rated SH are all blacks/roans and combo there of. FRUSTRATING. ANYWAY..., I thought I'd try a game year with using KN to see if it really helps make a difference..., not just in ratings or color, but in showing as well. If not, I will be going back to strictly PURES, and will weed out all the horses that are tainted. When and if that happens, I'll definitely be joining your club! It would be nice to actually be friends with others who are more old school in their thinking on breeding within the game. Thanks!! Bindi with Per Farr Farm
